How did we get started?
Kaptions4U was founded in 2008 by Brandi Kent out of a passion to provide the highest quality CART-Captioning for people who cannot comprehend speech...for a variety of different reasons.
Brandi started her career as a court reporter in 1996 and transitioned into captioning in 2000. Since then, Brandi has been providing affordable CART captioning services directly to her clients as well as subcontracting for many captioning firms in the U.S. and Canada.
Brandi holds certifications as an:

CRR - Certified Realtime Reporter
CBC - Certified Broadcast Captoner
CCP - Certified CART Provider
RSA - Realtime Systems Analyst.
She's an active member of the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) and of the Hearing Loss Association Florida (HLA-FL), providing on-site CART services for the HLA-FL Chapter.
She is also a proud member of the Collaborative for Communication Access (CCAC), the Global Alliance of Speech to Text Captioning, the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA), and is a past Committee Member of the NCRA's Captioning Community of Interest Group.
